I find that when working in brand there are so many ways to say the same thing, and new buzzwords to describe the latest marketing fad. I found this great dictionary pulled together by Marty Neumier, who is all things brand, really useful.
And his book the Brand Gap has some great insights into what brand is and is not.
David Aaker known as ‘The Father of Modern Branding’ He’s a recognized authority on branding, has developed several recognizable concepts including the Aaker brand vision model and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the science of marketing.
